LONDON — Jimmy Choo’s creative director Sandra Choi is adding a touch of sparkle to the brand’s Bon Bon handbags for a limited-edition capsule collection. The bags, which take the form of a mini-bucket bag and perfect for storing sweet treats, hence their name, have been reimagined in five styles with Swarovski crystals. Two of the bags feature a crystal grid and satin base in gold and silver, which was made using approximately 3,400 crystals in total, while two other bags have been inspired by flowers using 5,050 crystals in total and made by two master artisans who spent five days on the bag. Jimmy Choo introduced handbags in 2004 and has since been pushing the category alongside its footwear by featuring them more predominantly in their campaigns.
